I had a lovely weekend getaway! The hotel is set in a fine location with beautiful surroundings, perfect for a peaceful retreat. The indoor pool and sauna were a great way to unwind, and the breakfast was great, really delicious!
There were a few hiccups. The lack of air conditioning made our room a bit uncomfortable at night, and we did encounter some midges when opening the windows. renting robes and slippers felt a bit off after paying quite a bit for the stay. parking was a bit tricky, especially when the main lot was full.

A Relaxing Retreat with Really good Care
Upon arrival, I was instantly struck by the warm and inviting ambiance of the hotel. The staff went above and beyond, offering us a beautifully enriching treatment from their spa partner, Ishga, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of meetings. The spa, though small, provided a relaxing atmosphere, and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor facilities, including a lovely pool. The dining experience was excellent as well; the oak-panelled dining room set the perfect backdrop for a cozy meal. The combination of attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere made for a nice stay.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured an enormous double bed that added to the overall comfort. It was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and maintained a perfect temperature, allowing for restful nights.
I did notice a minor issue with the Wi-Fi connection, which was occasionally slow. While it didn't significantly impact my experience, a more reliable connection would have been appreciated for a more seamless stay.

The hotel is gorgeous, with a classy vibe and amazing decor. It's perfectly located near beautiful countryside, making it easy to relax and unwind. The rooms are spacious and super comfy, and I loved being able to enjoy drinks by the pool after a long day. The breakfast was great too-definitely a great way to start the day!
There were a few hiccups. I was surprised to find that I had to pay extra for jacuzzi access, and some guests were taking advantage of reserved loungers. it was a bit noisy at night due to staff outdoors, which didn’t help with sleep. it was a lovely trip, but a few improvements could make it even better!

Review: The decor at Lanelay Hall is both fine and well thought out, creating an inviting atmosphere. Breakfast is amazing, with a wide variety of options and perfect service-a standout moment. some furnishings could benefit from a little extra attention to detail, which slightly detracted from the experience. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-04-15}

Awesome stay with fab breakfast!
Super friendly staff and our room was really comfy. We had afternoon tea, and it was delish with a great selection. The only bummer was that the spa was pretty blah, way smaller than expected and the pool was freezing. Breakfast was def the highlight, tons of choices!

Elegant, Elegant, Elegant
I loved the fine decor that combines unique design elements! Our room, the Beautiful King Suite, was pure luxury, complete with a beautiful bathtub in the bedroom. The dining at the on-site restaurant was really good, with every dish bursting with flavor and creativity, especially the bacon-wrapped scallops!
